We are thrilled to finally be hosting the 2nd Annual Spy vs. Spy & sutton Realty Cornhole Tournament.  

It's bigger and better than ever!  It's an official Cornhole Canada Regional Tournament.

2nd Annual Kelowna Cornhole Tournament

Brought to you by: Spy vs. Spy and Hymark Sutton Realty Hosted by the Kelowna Kinsmen Club "Serving the Communities Greatest Needs since 1944"

Where: Kinsmen Park, along the lakefront on Abbott Street at Warlord Avenue.

When: Saturday September 24, 2022

Time:

Singles Tourney: 9am-11am -Maximum 40 players

Switcholio Tourney 11am-5pm - Maximum 100 players

Doubles Tourney 5pm-7pm - Maximum 20 teams (40 players)

Why: -To help raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis (as well as the sport of Cornhole). -This is a growing sport and is a fun, friendly outdoor activity for people of all ages and abilities.

How to Support: -Register yourself, friends, family and co-workers to play. -Raise funds to support Cystic Fibrosis by gathering pledges. -Spread the event information to your social networks. -Sponsorship Opportunities available (board sponsors can receive their boards & bags after the tournament)

Details: -The Kinsmen are happy to host our 2nd annual Cornhole tournament 2 years after our first.   -Held in our beautiful shady, grassy lakefront park (donated to the city decades ago) -Lakefront outdoor Beverage Garden -Food Trucks onsite for the day -Country 100.7 Radio on location -Family Fun Cornhole boards to try -"Hot Shot" Contest Fundraiser for CF -Spectators welcome!!

Cost: Pricing includes 20 minute games X5 (guaranteed 4 round robin games and minimum 1 playoff game), Cornhole Canada 2022 membership, a chance at prizes, and supporting Cystic Fibrosis (our benefactor for this event).

-Switcholio Tournament: $50/player -Singles Tournament *: $20/player -Doubles Tournament *: $20/player ($40/team)

*Players MUST be registered to play in the Switcholio Tournament (random new partner each game until the playoffs) in order to register for Singles and/or Doubles Tournaments.

Costumes are encouraged and fun is mandatory!!

To Register Important: -This year we are using the Cornholio App for mobile devices. -All players will be required to register through this app, and create an account to use it. -Download the app to your phone or iPad from this link: https://app.scoreholio.com -Then create an account by following the steps. -Search for the Kelowna Kinsmen Tournament on September 24, 2022. -Follow the steps to register -*Once you register for the Switcholio tournament you will receive information on how to register for the Singles and/or Doubles tournaments (until they are full).

Why Cornholio app? For several reasons: -It means you only have to register your information once, and automatically assigns you a Cornhole Canada membership -It automatically creates the round robin brackets, schedules the times and lanes for each round and then sends notifications to all players (via their devices) in advance of your start times. -It simplifies the entire registration and organization of the tournament to ensure a smooth and efficient day of rounds. -It allows us to send you notifications of Cornhole rules, agenda changes or suggestions for the day, etc. and consolidates our registration and payment into one app instead of two.

Getting there: -We recommend players and spectators carpool, bike or take transit, as parking in the area is limited. Please be aware of not blocking local residents driveways and local parking restrictions. -There will be beverage garden fencing to lock your bicycles to during the event. -We will also have a "drive your vehicle home" service on standby, and recommend you use that service if you have had too much at the beverage gardens (at your own cost).

Need Practice? The Kelowna Cornhole League has started. Currently they meet Saturdays (and fun Wednesday nights) at the Kelowna Curling Club in air-conditioned comfort. See their Facebook page for more details.
